Outpour Movement is the name we have chosen for our ministry in Thailand. We believe in ministering through the “overflow” or “outpour” of our personal relationship with God empowered by the Holy Spirit.
The belief that He is living and active in our indigenous partners as well as those who minister with us in the short-term is part of what drives us to invest time and resource. Because of this recognition, we have had the privilege to participate in all manner of miracles, and vision.
The “movement” we are birthing brings a harvest in people who are willing to “be real” with each other, and reach out to a world who desperately needs Jesus.
Our ministry reaches into Northern Thailand and Burma. We first began over eleven years ago and we have been living in Thailand for the last six years. In that time we have been blessed to partner with goals and visions of indigenous ministers. We have worked alongside villages, and ministers to plant and build three churches, two children’s homes, initiate several poverty combating agricultural programs, and see many lives transformed. Relational evangelism and prayer remain two major focuses of our ministry.
After years of praying for Burma we are encouraged by the slow but real changes coming. One of our children’s homes is in a major refugee camp, where people flee oppression, and violence in Burma.
Our ministry is spread out in Northern Thailand, but the current area of focus for us is Tak province, near the Thai/Burma border, we have vision for a ministry to street/abandoned kids there and an outreach to the backpacker travelers who often visit. Our ministry takes us into remote villages, border towns, and refugee camps with the gospel and, a heart to restore the hurting.
